"As you come to him, the living Stone -- rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him -- you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."
This is a great analogy to who we are as Christians and who we are called to be. Our lives, because we are living, are to be used for God's work, which is an acceptable sacrifice to Him. And what an easy, well not easy but so minute, thing compared to what He sacrificed for us.
Another awesome reminder to be living our lives in a manner that brings glory to the one who brought us into being.
