Hebrews 2:17-18

"For this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted."

There are a couple cool things about this verse. First, we are called Jesus' brothers, where he was made like us in every way that he could understand what it is like to be human. Second, because he suffered as a human, he knows exactly how to relate to us in our own sufferings.

Its so easy for me to call God daddy, but to call him brother is a little weird. It shouldn't be and maybe that's something I can think about in my prayer life.

Be encouraged by this, that He who gave life to all, has the ability to relate to you and meet you in every situation you may be in.
